MISS IBADAN 2023 

RULES AND REGULATION

All Miss Ibadan Contestant must be a minimum of 18 years of age and no older than 25 years of age by July 1st of competition year.

Pageant experience is not required. We run a fair and honest system, and all contestants will compete on an equal basis.

Each contestant will have a 1 minute time limit whenever on stage.

Pageant entry fee is N10,000 naira only  with no online voting or text voting 

Anyone showing poor sportsmanship will be disqualified and ask to leave without a refund or awards. Bashing or gossip will not be tolerated. NO EXCEPTIONS! This pageant system expects parents and contestants to use civility toward each other and to the staff of the pageant at all times.

You can call 1-2 weeks following pageant and receive scores and comments via email. Judges decisions are FINAL.

All contestants must be ready to compete ON TIME.

We will provide a decent sized dressing room. However, we strongly encourage contestants to stay at our chosen hotel

All winners must have group and individual photos made before prizes /awards are received.

prizes will  be awarded to the winning contestants.

Do not ask who or how many are in contestants group. This data will not be given out. This information changes and we don't want to give you inaccurate information.

If you are staying at the hotel please conduct yourselves in the proper manner. MISS IBADAN & AWARDS  would like to maintain in good standing with the host hotel.

Please have a birth certificate available at registration.

ADVERTISING SIGNS, OTHER PAGEANT ENTRY FORMS, VENDORS- any vendor attending MISS IBADAN & AWARDS , must contact directors for approval. No Signs, posters, etc will be permitted on hotel walls, doors, or elevators.

Registration of the pageant will be in the early morning. All photos must be turned in during registration.

PHOTOGRAPHER, VIDEO- Video-cameras, camera phones, or flash cameras will NOT be permitted in the ballroom at any time. All winners must have photos made at end of pageant before awards are received. A professional production company will be at the pageant taking photos and videotaping the entire event. 

MODELING-We are at MISS IBADAN & AWARDS allow pro-am modeling. There can also be over-exaggerated facial expressions, heavy arm movements or swaying when walking, pouts, winks, clinched cheeks, raised eyebrows, sparkly eyes, pointing at judges, excessive head tilts, removable clothing, prissy walks, fast walking, heel hops or boot scoots in western wear, etc. All of this is fine and well for all our Pageants. Or, if you are a little less animated, “ANY” style of modeling will be accepted and sufficient! It's basically whatever kind of modeling style you prefer. Modeling for all competitions is limited to 1 minute

The Organizer cannot be held responsible for any injury or loss or damage to any contestant or their property. Contestant understands that MISS IBADAN & AWARDS  reserves the right to change the dates & location of the pageant.

Failure to comply with any terms and conditions or rules or regulations will result in the contestant/contestants being expelled from the competition regardless of the stage of the competition and any votes will be lost.

The winners of MISS IBADAN & AWARDS will not give any interviews, or endorsements without the written permission of the organizer. Contestant understands that if selected a winner of her competition, that for one year her professional affairs, as said winner, will be under the sole management of ADERONKE OMO DAIRO FOUNDATION and  MISS IBADAN & AWARDS  and that she will not give any written or oral endorsements commercially, without the expressed permission of said same. Contestant further acknowledges that all rights for any appearances, endorsements, speaking engagements, acting roles, etc. resulting from winning or being a contestant in any regional, state or international competition affiliated with MISS IBADAN & AWARDS  shall belong exclusively to same.

Contestant will permit MISS IBADAN & AWARDS  the right to use contestant's photograph for publicity purposes in connection with all competitions

All decisions of judges are final and irrevocable.

MISS IBADAN AND AWARDS has the right to change and/or update these terms and conditions at any time.  Submitting anything through our order forms makes it property of MISS IBADAN & AWARDS. MISS IBADAN & AWARDS has the right to do what it sees fit with said property.

Prizes are non-transferable, negotiable or refundable.

No cash alternative will be offered. The chosen WINNERS must allow a duration of a maximum of up to six months to receive their prizes

I have read and I fully understand the rules and regulations of MISS IBADAN & AWARD. I certify that all information contained on this application is true and correct. I understand that incorrect information can result in forfeiture of all titles/prizes received. The Owners, Directors, or Staff of MISS IBADAN & AWARDS, or its host hotel will in no way be held responsible for accidents, or injuries incurred during or while in transport to or from the pageant. I understand that the judge’s decisions are final and under any circumstances and signing this form constitutes acceptance of those decisions. Any and all photos or videos of contestants may be used by MISS IBADAN & AWARDS for advertising, promotional and however else MISS IBADAN & AWARDS deem fit. The materials submitted to this company will be PROPERTY of this company. I am not allowed to sue MISS IBADAN & AWARDS and ADERONKE OMO DAIRO for any reason.

I am aware that all fees with the hotel and any damages done to the hotel as a result of my actions attending while attending any MISS IBADAN & AWARDS are my responsibility.

I also agree, that I am aware that all awards decisions are FINAL.

These rules and regulations are subject to modification, as needed, without prior notice. MISS IBADAN & AWARDS reserves the right to make said modifications at its sole discretion.
